Ecosocial Education for Diversity and Justice: an International Assembly

What is ecosocial education and how might it transform the way we relate to our world in common, in the face of current crises? Ecosocial education starts from the notion that social and ecological justice go together. It teaches young generations respectful, sustainable and caring ways of relating to communities and ecosystems, and offers other ways of thinking, relating, acting and working in our social and ecological worlds. In this event, we’ll explore why and how ecosocial education needs to be diverse, anti-racist, (eco)feminist and justice-oriented in order to be transformative. We learn from international as well as Viennese initiatives and networks, and focus in on the Austrian context and its challenges for diversity and justice. We will likely finish with a banner making session. All welcome – join us!
