In the Earthcare strand, we’re concerned with the intersection between struggles for land, earth-caring forms of agriculture, sustainable forms of inhabitation and community, and the forces of reproduction that sustain our lives in common. We learn from, and work with, collectives and movements that push back against capitalist destruction, invent new forms of earthcare commons and infrastructures, reproduce and repair forms of connection to soil, earth and land, and build on ancestral memories and cultures for a present that harbours justice, diversity, experimentation and care. Feminism (trans-eco), anti-racism and ecology play into this very strongly.
We organise courses and events, collectively write and edit books and texts, translate texts and experiences, facilitate encounters between different struggles and practices, and often sync our work with our sister project, the Earthcare fieldcast.
