We are thrilled to invite you to a session with FUHEM, a Spanish eco-educational institution that’s been a major inspiration for our work on Ecosocial Curricula and radical, ecofeminist and social justice education. FUHEM will present their wide-ranging work, from the Ecosocial Curriculum they wrote to fit the Spanish State Education System, to their three educational centres in Madrid, as well as their wider research and education networks.
FUHEM works on social justice, alternative economics, deepening democracy and sustainability through educational activity and work on ecosocial issues.
In this session, Raúl Almendro from EduAlter will speak with Charo Morán from FUHEM to get a sense of their approach, histories and strategies for transforming education. The event will be held in Spanish and in English with translation. All welcome!
